Sea Moss (lat. Chondrus crispus) – tasteless seaweed is loaded with life-enhancing nutrients such as sulphur compounds, amino acids, iodine, bromine, beta-carotene, pectin, folate, iron, zinc, calcium, selenium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, A, B, C, E and K group organic compounds. Shelf life: 18 months. We always receive fresh Sea Moss, no longer than 2 months after collecting and drying.

This product does not contain any additional salts or other additives.

Preparation: The main rule for preparing purple sea moss gelatin is pure clean water. If this rule is not followed, the inorganic minerals in the water react with the organic minerals of the purple sea moss during the production of gelatin, chemical reactions occur and a contaminated, grease-like consistency is obtained, which is strictly prohibited for use. A blender is required (a hand blender is not suitable).

Out of 50g of dry purple sea moss can make ~1.5L of gelatin.

Procedure: Take a larger container (salad bowl), put half pack of dry gold sea moss, pour a larger amount of clean water and leave for 6-12 hours to soak. After that, prepare the blender, clean the sea moss of pebbles or other adhering parts of the seaweeds (if any), and wash it with the same or clean water and put it in the blender. After adding all the soaked sea moss to the blender, press it to the bottom and, depending on the blender blades and power, pour clean water up to no more than half of the amount added for weaker blenders, or cover almost the entire amount with clean water for more powerful blenders. Since gelatin is made best with more powerful blenders, the most important thing for those with weaker blenders is the very beginning of blending. After pouring half of the amount of sea moss in the blender with water, blend until the blades no longer touch the sea moss. Then, add enough water for the blades to touch sea moss again and continue blending. This will need to be done several times until a smooth consistency is formed. Finally, pour water up to the 1L mark and blend for another minute. For those with weaker blenders, it takes 5-8 minutes to blend. After blending, pour into clean jars and store in the refrigerator. Cleanly prepared sea moss gelatin lasts for ~4 weeks. Always use clean tools to take out sea moss gelatin from the jar. We recommend consuming 500ml of sea moss gelatin within 5-7 days.

Usage:

Minimum consumption is ~2-4 tbsp/day

For those without thyroid problems is ~4-8 tbsp/day

Can also be used externally on skin and hair.

Note: Do not use for those with hyperthyroidism.
